I've had Disgaea listed as my favorite game since forever, so it's about time I had some Disgaea fanart here. These are the Mage and Skull from "Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories", by Nippon Ichi Software (NIS). Original character design by Takehito Harada. This picture changed while I was drawing it, to the point that nobody could tell what was going on anymore. Oh well, cute makes right and content is irrelevant. Just look at Strawberry Marshmallow.
If you're thinking of the song that this guy made a video of where the lights of his house were choreographed to the song, then yes. Didn't know who made the song.
You have a nice gallery by the way. You're really strong with the pencil.
Congratulations, out of all the winners of that contest, yours was the only one that actually showed a lot of effort. Seriously... I don't know what it is with NISA and picking crappier artwork over better artwork. Gah... I mean, losing to your picture... no problem, it was awesome. The other three though... I'll give the first it was a good concept, but the two after you were lame. :/ You're the only one who even did a background out of them!
Thanks for the compliment. It makes me feel better, although I think the one that won deserved it. As with movies, story and concept count more than special effects.
As for the other runners-up, I think your Akutare picture was better than the Pleinair one. The Etna one, despite being plain, showed a lot of technical skill - the artist of that one could outdraw me if he put as much time into his piece as I put into mine.

Was the title inspired by that Trans-Siberian Orchestra song?
